Patricio Rojas
International Programs
Since I was a child, I have always been interested in different sports, although I have never specialized in one. During my childhood, I practiced various disciplines such as basketball, swimming, volleyball and athletics.
My personal and professional development has focused on leadership, leading teams under stressful conditions, managing and controlling complex projects,
and coordinating resources in dynamic environments. Although I have always enjoyed sports and try to pass on this passion to my son, my career has not been directly related to the sports field. For me, tennis was a distant sport, something I watched on television.
However, in 2022, when I was finishing my studies for a second career, I received an invitation from Milo Quiroz to develop the Exchange Programs project at the Antonio Valdés Academy, and I decided to accept the challenge.
Currently, I am the manager of the Exchange Programs, responsible for the implementation of the project in Latin America, as well as the strengthening and expansion of the exchange programs in the United States and Germany.
My future goal is to be able to «inspire people through sport» and, through the exchange programs of the Antonio Valdés Academy, to offer young athletes the opportunity to develop academically and personally while continuing to practice the sport they are so passionate about.
