Tennis has been a fundamental part of my life since a very young age. I picked up a tennis racket for the first time at the age of 5, though I didn’t start playing the sport actively until I was 12, inspired by my father and uncle. One of my most significant personal moments was the first time I defeated my father in a match. Off the court, I enjoy fishing, which provides me with the perfect balance to the intensity of tennis.
In 2005, I graduated with a major in Business Administration. Between 2005 and 2007, I focused entirely on my tennis career, training at the renowned Nick Bollettieri Academy in Bradenton, Florida, and the Gerry Weber Break Point-Base Academy in Halle, Germany.
In 2007, I pursued an apprenticeship as a retail salesman, which I successfully completed in 2009. During this time, I had already begun working as a tennis coach, and I knew this would be my future. From 2009 to 2018, I served as a coach and head coach at various clubs in Germany before finding my way to the Antonio Valdes Akademie.
As a coach, I hold a C license (for competitive sports) from the German Tennis Federation and a Tennis-Trainer C-License from the Global Professional Tennis Coach Association. I have also gained valuable experience in the WTA, ATP, and ITF circuits. For me, the greatest success lies in seeing how I can help people improve both their tennis skills and their personal lives every day.
At the Antonio Valdes Akademie, I have a multifaceted role, coach, Director of Sales, and Managing Director at the academy. As a coach, I pass on theacademy’s philosophy daily, encouraging students to «turn passion into action.» As Sales Manager, I oversee and improve sales processes, and as Director, I give my all to make the academy a better place each day. My team and I work together to create the perfect foundation for every tennis enthusiast to turn their passion into a way of life and to develop their leadership skills.
My goal with the academy is to create an environment where every player and individual has the opportunity to reach 100% of their talent and potential, both in tennis and in their personal development. My personal philosophy is to achieve my goals through hard work and daily consistency. The biggest influences on my career have been my family and friends. In the tennis world, the «Big Three»—Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic—have always inspired me with their constant evolution, even after achieving everything.
